Kanwal Toor moves to theatre
From modelling to anchoring and now acting… model Kanwal Toor will soon be seen in producers Anand Mundra and Himanshu Sanghvi’s play “Ae..ae.ae..phasaa”.
Kanwal, who hosts the talk show “Filmi Fever” on Zoom channel, first came into the limelight when she represented India at the Miss International Contest 2001.
She was initially hesitant about acting in a play, but her producers have praised her.
“Kanwal was brilliant. Her performance was like mind blowing, I mean considering she was always into modelling and this being her debut in acting,” said Mundra.
When asked, if she would like to work again with the same cast and crew, she said: “Yes of course, they are wonderful people.”
