With Alberta opening provincial nominations for scorers with points as low as 300, this route is easily an easier bet. Such nominees will get 600 points over and above their existing score. These immigrants or candidates will then automatically qualify into the draw for Express Entry.
Alberta has also made available a list of occupations that are not eligible for the express entry stream. A provincial job offer, business or work experience in hand, helps. Having a sibling or parents in the area also is an added advantage.
