Those skilled laborers that are in the pool of the country’s express entry system fall under this sub-category. They shall fulfill the following pre-requisites:
- Minimum scoring of 60 points on the point evaluation grid.
- Give a valid test for language from a certified agency.
- Completion of post-secondary schooling, preparation, or apprenticeship is equivalent to the education system of Canada.

- They should have work experience of a minimum of six months.

- A semi-skilled agricultural worker with a work permit:
- Shall possess valid permission to work from an employer and is working for over six months.

- Health workers:
- Working as a full-time worker on a temporary work permit as a nurse or physician or any health professional.
- The candidate shall meet the criteria.
- Hospitality sector:
- Workers who are working on a temporary permit through LMIA.
- Working with a SINP hospitality sector employer for a minimum of six months.
- Long-journey truck drivers:
- Working for an approved firm of trucks.
- Shall meet the sub-category criteria.
- Students:
- The students must have graduated from an institute in the province or from a renowned post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Worked for at least 780 hours for a paid job.
- Possessing a permanent or full-time job offer in the field of study.
- Entrepreneur in Saskatchewan:
People who are interested in owning a business in the province must have an active managerial position in the business, fall under this category.
- Farm owners in Saskatchewan:
People who are interested in buying and running a farm fall under this category. The maximum age limit is 40 for the category. They must prove their experience in the field and must possess enough capital to invest in farming operations.
