A University Degree Holder Gets the Maximum Pay In The Canadian Job Market

 The young citizens of Canada are eagerly awaiting admission into premier colleges and universities. Which educational courses are worth investing in terms of money and time?  Statistics Canada reports the average expenditure to gain an undergraduate degree is $23000.

 A university graduate enjoys the advantage of earning $43000 to a non-graduate earning $26000. A survey conducted by Statistics Canada revealed qualified male graduates in 20 years gained a wealth of $728,000, and women earned $442,000. 

University degree holders enjoyed employer-sponsored pension plans and unlikely to be laid off. 

 A 33% increase in Tuition fees since 2006 lead to an average expenditure of $7539 per term. The wages earned by a graduate on completion has slumped to 11.6%.  The employment rates declined from 94.1% in 2006 to 87.6% in 2012. The youth are not benefitting after investing a sum of money in education.

Survey Results Related to Education Imparated at Universities

 A survey conducted in Canada to gather information on how much knowledge gained at University was productive in their present field of employment. The answers were shocking  23% revealed what they learned in college was relevant to their jobs. 60% of Canadians felt that knowledge imparted in colleges should impact jobs. 75% of Canadians were in jobs not related to the stream studied in University. 

Jobs After Graduation from University

 The jobs that were acquired immediately after graduation were 97% of nurses landed nursing jobs. 94% of students enrolled in pharmacy struck luck in their respective fields. 91% of students studying Computer Science acquired jobs in their stream. 90% of engineers and 88% of candidates found employment in the engineering field and the department of human resources respectively.  

University Degree Holder Pay In Canadian Job Market

 The young Canadians succeeded in receiving great returns after investing money in University Education. Computer Science is said to be the most profitable field in the present scenario. The average initial earnings are $68000. The various job descriptions presently doing well are Software developers, Web Developers, Business Analysts, Consultants, and Project Managers. A whopping salary of $52000 for a Web developer and $75000 for other posts in Computers.

 Jobs are pursued keeping in mind the return of Investment but other reasons play a role in deciding the future in University. The present scenario reveals a demand in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, and Pharmacy. 

 Remember Graduates face an added advantage while looking for favorable job opportunities even though the paychecks are less in comparison to the money invested in education.
