In The Second Express Entry Draw – Canada Offers Drop of Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System Score by 9 Points

The Canada immigration authority has come up with a surprising move to conduct second Express Entry draw in eight days since the first Express Entry draw of the month of August. However, surprise does not end here, as the immigration authority has also slashed down the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score by nine points.

In The Second Express Entry Draw – Canada Offers Drop of Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System Score by 9 Points

On 20th August, the immigration department had issued 3600 invitations to apply (ITA) for the candidates who are seeking migration to Canada for professional reasons. In previous express entry draw, the minimum score for the candidate was 466. On 20th August, the minimum score was changed and it had been made 457 points.

The point has been given based on various factors. Basically, the immigration department judges the competency and skills of the persons who apply for immigration to Canada for professional reasons.

There are Vacancies Open in almost Each Province of Canada

Various states of Canada have huge requirements for professional and skilled candidates to fulfill the vacant job positions in different industrial sectors. With the Express Entry draw, Canadian provinces fulfill those vacant positions by giving work permits to the skills foreigners.

Slashing off the eligibility score by 9 points seems to be a tactical move which has been intended to allow more migration with ease. It will help the states to fulfill those vacant positions in more swift time. In order to make the process rapid, the express entry draw has also been conducted in a quick period of time.

This is the fourth consecutive draw where 3600 ITAs have been issued by the immigration department of Canada. In the year 2019, the authority has so far invited 56,200 candidates for work permits in the country.

The country’s immigration department further aims to reach approval of 81400 candidates till the end of the year through its express entry system so that high skilled immigration can take place.

However, in 2018, IRCC had made a record by approving the entry of 89,800 candidates through the express entry system.

On March 24th, 2019, the tie-breaking rule had also been introduced for the express entry draws. When there is more than one candidate with a minimum score, there will be a tie-breaker. “First come first served” is the tie-breaking policy of IRCC. That means that the candidate who had applied previously will be chosen for approval ITA.

The overall process will boost the employment of the various public and private sectors in Canada with skilled foreign labors.
