So most of the immigrants try to get Permanent Residency through Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

SINP is a program through which the province select skilled immigrants and gave them nomination certificate which allows the skilled immigrant to try for permanent residency in the province.
Below mentioned categories are acceptable through SINP-
- Skilled worker
- Saskatchewan Experience
- Entrepreneur or have a Farming business
Let’s discuss each category in some detail-
1. International Skilled Worker Category for Immigrating to Saskatchewan
This category is for skilled immigrants who have a unique set of skills and can contribute to the economy of the province. Points on the basis of three sub-classes which are as described below-
·Skilled Worker who have a job offer in the Saskatchewan province- Employment Offer
Eligibility criteria-
- A minimum score of 60 in SINP assessment,
- Mandatory work experience of minimum 1 year,
- Minimum language score should match benchmark for Canadian language that is 4,
- Skilled who don’t have a job offer but his skill set for a job that is in demand- Occupation Demand
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum score of 60 in SINP assessment,
- Mandatory work experience of minimum 1 year,
- Minimum language score should match benchmark for Canadian language that is 4,
- Proof of funds documents,
- Valid degree from a reputed university but it should be recognized equal to Canadian standards.
- Expression of Interest System is now valid on this subcategory.
Expression of Interest System– This is an online pre-application which is not an application for SINP but pre-submitted application in which an interested candidate fill out their details regarding education and show interest in working in the province.

A skilled worker who got the nomination from the province- Saskatchewan Express Entry
Eligibility criteria for this subcategory are more or less the same as two above but for this, the candidate has to be listed in express entry pool with a valid profile number. This subcategory too followed Expression of Interest System.
2. Saskatchewan Experience
This category is for the international workers who all are already in Saskatchewan. Following mentioned are the 5 subcategories that come under this category-
- For the worker who has Work Permit and working in the province for at least 6 months.
- International working as Health Professional in the province- be it a doctor or any profession related to health for at least 6 months.
- International workers in the Hospitality Sector of the province for example- housekeeping, restaurant etc. for at least 6 months.
- International workers who are working in Trucking Company as a Truck Driver for at least 6 months.
- International students who have done their graduation from a Canadian university and have work experience of 2 years in Saskatchewan. Only 6 months of work experience is required if the University of graduation is in Saskatchewan.
3. Entrepreneur or have a Farming business- Immigration to Saskatchewan
Applicants who either run a business or into farming can apply under this category. This category is for the ones who are interested in investing in the economy of the province.
- Entrepreneur-
Applicants who have experience in managing a business and can run a business in the province or have the ability to invest in an already existed business of the province. The applicant will hold a management position in the business. Expression of Interest is also valid in this type of category.
- Farming business
Applicants for this category must have experience in farming and ready to invest in the same and contribute to the economy of the province.
