Canadian province Saskatchewan has reopened its International Skilled Worker Express Entry immigration sub-category. This sub-category is part of the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program). It will be allowing new Canada permanent residents having ability to settle here and get themselves established economically.

The announcement was made on 14^th February, 2017. All eligible candidates waiting for the reopening of this highly popular Express Entry immigration sub-category have welcomed this news. Saskatchewan Express Entry Immigration- Eligibility to apply for provincial nomination certificate from Saskatchewan

Eligible candidates in Canada Express Entry pool are eligible to apply for a provincial nomination certificate from this Canadian province. Candidates earn 600 additional points under the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) on getting a provincial nomination certificate through this sub-category. This gives them a security to get an ITA(Invitation to Apply) at any subsequent draw from the Express Entry pool.

Eligibility requirements of Saskatchewan Express Entry Immigration category

Following is the eligibility criteria for Saskatchewan Express Entry Immigration

• Candidates need to have a legal status if they are residing in Canada currently;
• They must have been accepted into the Express Entry pool of the IRCC. They need to have an Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code;
• They need to provide the results of their language test from any designated testing agency. It must match the language level declared in their Express Entry profile.
• They need to have completed not less than one year of post-secondary education/training comparable to the Canada education system and that should have resulted in any degree/diploma/certificate/ or a certificate equivalent to any trade certificate.
• They must have not less than one of the following in one’s field of education/training occupation—
• One year work experience in the past 10 years in any skilled profession (non-trades);
• Two years of work experience in any skilled trade in the past five years; or
• Twelve months work experience in Canada in the period of past three years (trades and non-trades).
• Must possess work experience in any skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level A, B or 0 that is in-demand in Saskatchewan;
• Get a proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure in case their profession is fully regulated in this Canadian province and needs compulsory licensing or certification;
• Must have a certificate of qualification or a letter of invitation in their respective skilled trade from Saskatchewan Apprenticeship & Trade Certification Commission in case their work experience is in any skilled trade;
• Need to have proof of sufficient settlement funds along with a settlement plan;
• Must score not less than 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
