United Kingdom, 7th December: EU Citizens In Post-Brexit UK Shall Require ‘Form of ID’.

So, its official. Some form of documentation shall become mandatory following Brexit for three millions EU citizens living in the UK. This is under a latest plan by the UK government. It may hit the UK government finances for as much as £100m.
The proposed plan shall be introduced by the UK with a phased approach, she affirmed. It will be made sure that all technology advantages shall be used. This will be to ensure that all immigration gets handled carefully, she added.

The processing will add nearly 10 percent to the UK Home Office’s workload. Academic experts claim that the plan may be a formidable task leading to nearly 140 years of extra work.
