It seems Zayed is working hard and listening to scripts to sign up various films. But I wonder why he is signing only English titled films. You don’t believe me… take a look yourself. He came in the very recent ‘Fight Club’. Suresh Krishna’s ‘Rocky’ is all set to release. He has signed Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Speed’, ‘Cash’ of Anubhav Sinha and Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New year’.
‘Cash’ to release in April 2007
Director Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Cash’ is all set to roll on April 12, 2007. It is Producer Sohail Maklai’s first film.
The cast of the film is superb. It includes Ajay Devgan, Zayed Khan, Arjun Rampal, Riteish Deshmukh, Esha Deol and Shamita Shetty. There is a love triangle between Zayed, Riteish and Esha.
‘Cash’ is an action thriller and the music is given by Vishal-Shekhar. The stunts and action is by Allan Amin.
Zayed’s injury delayed ‘Speed’
‘Speed’ would have been completed by March had Zayed not got injured doing a stunt for the movie. Harry’s movie Speed which has been directed by Vikram Bhatt got delayed because of Zayed’s back injury.
He got hurt when he was doing stunts on wires. Urmila Matondkar is his co-actress. It is for the first time that Vikram Bhatt is working with Urmila.
Bhatt’s much awaited horror flick ‘Rooh’ will be released soon too.
‘Rocky’ set to roll
Well, Zayed’s another English titled movie ‘Rocky’ is all set to release in August. You’ve marveled at Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky series. The buzz is that he is planning ‘Rocky VI’ sometime soon. Never mind Hollywood, apna Bollywood has had its share of Sanju Baba’s debut style flick ‘Rocky’ as well. Now, stylish Zayed Khan is trying to go on that trip too with his solo-after-a-long-gap movie titled ‘Rocky’.
Zayed’s co-actress’s in the movie is Minisha Lamba and Esha Sharwani, from the ‘Kisna’ fame. The music of the film is by Himesh Reshammiya and has already created waves. ‘Junoon’ and ‘It’s Not a One Night Stand’ have been picturised well and are earning quite-a-few eye balls on telly-world these days.
This good looking Khan hasn’t had a single hit so far. The little appreciation he has earned is from multi starrers like ‘Main Hoon Na’ (Shahrukh), ‘Dus’ (Sanjay, Abhishek and Sunil), ‘Shabd’ (Sanjay Dutt) and ‘Shaadi No.1’ (Fardeen and Sharman).
Well, let’s see now if this ‘English titled’, single handed film rocks for Zayed or not.
