Registrations open for US 2013 Diversity Visa Lottery Program
United States, 3rd October: Registrations for US 2013 Diversity Visa Lottery Program are open from 4th October 2011 to 5th November 2011.

Electronic submission of US DV forms--All applications must be submitted electronically during the valid registration period for the US Diversity Visa Lottery Program by visiting the official website of the US DV-2013(the US Diversity Visa Lottery Program) and making use of E-DV (electronic DV) entry form.
The US DOS has clarified that it will not accept any paper entries. All DV 2013 Program entrants can check status of their applications by going online on the official website of E-DV Entry Status Check.
The US State Department has clarified that it will not mail any letters or emails for informing the selected candidates under the US DV program 2013.

This is in keeping with the view a high demand for the US Diversity Visa Lottery Program is high with the likelihood of slowing the process.
