Canada, 13th September: Canada is offering Indian companies a great opportunity by providing longer stay for their employees moving to Canada under Canadian business express programme.

Started almost a year ago, the program has been allowing workers of Indian companies immigrate to Canada on Canada business visas. The best part of this program by Canada immigration is that the applicants require quite less paper formalities and the processing of such Canadian visas is done rather in a short span of time.
Speaking about this Canada visa program, Mr. Jason Kenney, the Canadian immigration minister who is on a visit to India these days, said that the program which was launched for the first time in India has given a tremendous response. Under this business visa program, Tata Group, a renowned company of India, has sent nearly 900 workers to Canada. At present, Canada has a total of 50 countries registered under this program, the immigration minister added.
Mr. Kenney said that from now onwards, the business express program will be provided various registered companies in India to allow the workers stay for longer periods in Canada as temporary foreign workers.
India, which happens to be the biggest immigration market for Canada, has contributed significantly towards Canadian economy through immigration of its workforce to Canada.
Mr. Kenney went on to inform further that latest global case management will be initiated for the first time on a trial basis in India. The new system for Canada skilled worker scheme is software-driven and will be used to get trace the history of applicants for Canada immigration will be online, thereby increasing not just the time taken for processing of applications for Canada visas but also improving the working efficiency of the process, the immigration minister added.
Canada is going to maintain the levels of Canada immigration not less than 0.8 percent of Canada’s total population. This is due to the fact that Canada does not want to have shortage of required workforce in the economy as the nation recovers from the recession.
Apart from increasing the time duration of workers under the Canada business visa program for stay in Canada, Canada immigration department is also working on to increase the number of students hailing from India to study in Canada.
